Fun Outside, Sweetie goes Rock Climbing

Little Sweetie was able to come out and play in the sun yesterday.  Not yet two days old he is already rock climbing.  Isn't it amazing what strong instinct God gave them to climb and jump!

Such a nice picture!

Trying to get on top!

The other babies were outside and Darling said hi.  Coco is a good mom and makes sure none of the kids get to ruff or bother Sweetie to much.

Makes Darling look so big and Sweetie so small.

Sweetie went for a walk, Coco followed.  The other babies were quite interested.

Who is that ?

The kids watching Sweetie, Little Daisy is so cute.

Suddenly Sweetie takes off!!!!

Look at Sweetie run!

The other kids follow but Coco doesn't let them get to close.  So Sweetie chases the other kids who leave because Coco is following right behind.

They are still really interested with the new addition.

Little Daisy is so cute and funny.

But look at Darling !  What a good looking little spiky buck.  He thought he could take Coco on when Coco would chase him.  Not yet Darling.

Other pictures from the day after I put Sweetie back in the stall for a nap.

I Love My Coffee

Coffee - March 10, 2015

I am quite excited about how Coffee freshened.  I was a little mad at Coffee for rejecting her baby but if any goat was to reject a baby I am glad it was Coffee.  First fresheners are supposed to have tiny teats, not so with Coffee.  My whole hand can fit on her teat to milk!  I don't have small hands either.  My family is tired of me talking about her nice udder and teats.  I hear, "Must you talk about THIS at the dinner table."  What can I say?  I am excited for Coffee's udder!
There is an another excitement about Coffee.  It is so cool!  On March 10, 2015, Coffee produced a whole gallon of milk!  My first 1 gallon milker!  The picture above was taken before morning milking, Coffee is full of 1/2 gallon.  She doesn't even look that huge.  Think of how much she might make later.
Good job Coffee!  A wonderful even udder, even teat placement, large teats, and 1 gallon milk production!  Coffee has earned her carrot.

Strawbaby is Feeling Very Pregnant.

Strawbaby's due date is a little over two weeks away and one can totally tell.  She sits around watching the activities.  Or sleeps.....

Strawbaby is my biggest goat, and now she is even bigger!  I keep wondering how many babies are in there.  I enjoy feeling them kick.  Poor Strawbaby, look at that nice round tummy.

Happy Birthday Honey !!!

My beautiful buck is now a year old!

Honey, March 10, 2015

He used to be so tiny.

Honey on the day we brought him home, March 31, 2014

Honey is such a honey.  He is sweet and a joy to own.  He is a father to 4 beautiful kids, soon to be more.  Honey is well behaved with people, the does and the kids.  He likes to go on walks and treats are his highlight of the day.  He also enjoys giving kisses.  Pet Honey or even touch him and his tail wags in delight.  As a baby his best attribute was his super soft fur, softer then velvet.  It has now changed to long silkier fur but he passed on the velvet fluff to his babies.  God has truly blessed me with such a lovably buck.

The Baby is now a Mom

Thought I would post two pictures for comparison.  When I got Coco she wasn't supposed to be pregnant.  But that tiny little goat had other ideas.  On April 20, 2014 she gave birth to Truffles.  Truffles grew a bit bigger.  Truffles then took after her mom and became pregnant before the proper time.  On February 18, 2015 Truffles gave birth to Praline.  The baby became a mom.  My wonderful crazy little lamanchas that I love.
